Using your unfinished wood kookaburra shape is easy. First, peel off the protective paper backing. This backing is there to keep the wood safe during laser cutting and shipping. Now you're ready to start your DIY project. You can paint it, stain it, or add any other decorations you like. If you want a hole in the shape, let us know the size and location, and we'll add it for free. For sizing, we have the kookaburra available from 3' up to 36'. And the wood is cut from cabinet grade Baltic birch plywood in 1/8 (3mm), 1/4 (6mm) or 1/2 (12mm) inch thicknesses. If you need a different thickness, just send us a message. When it comes to maintenance, keep the wood in a dry place to prevent warping or damage. If you've painted or stained it, clean it gently with a soft, dry cloth. We make these products by hand in the suburbs of Pittsburgh, so you know you're getting a high - quality item. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to message us.
